A corrupt free India??? Possible??

You can change, I can change, they can change, we can change …..
But ll India’s ever growing population change. Is that possible for a country of a India stature to agree to one thing.
Can the modern Gandhian Anna Hazare change us???
NO!!! ANNA HAZARE CANT!!!
Not at least on his own. He needs support. And the major chunk of Indian youth are his supporters.
Practically his approach to make the Indian govt to pass the JanlokPal bill seems to be old fashioned. Yes it is…will the govt that is busy with its own corruption issues care. If it had it wouldn’t have been 42yrs since the bill was introduced.
What ll happen if Janlokpal bill is passed?? Will corruption end??
No!! Not possible….  Well certainly the bill is a right foot towards its eradication though.
But it shouldn’t be just used in a political agenda. The longer view of lokpal bill should help in eradicating corruption in a social front as well.
Is that possible?? Can Indians be socially corrupt free?? Highly questionable right??
It’s a question everyone should ask himself/herself.
We the people elect the govt. we can’t blame the govt for being corrupt. We are corrupt, so are they.
Corruption is no lone culprit. All social evils eventually are root causes of corruption.
Are we ready for corrupt free India??
No we aren’t righteously….
Are the politicians, govt officials, bureaucrats only corrupt??? No …
IN THE WALK OF LIFE…every one of us has accounted for corruption in some way or the other.
Are we ready to mend our ways for a corrupt free nation??
do you think conducting mass strike gonna make the govt think ?? will liking a post/status/link on facebook , twitter gonna make a change?? Will fasts gonna bring the change??
NO!!!!
So how can we make the change?? we cant make the govt change ?? but WE must bring about the change in ourselves. Again…back to same question ?? Are we ready ??
So how does one contribute to corruption ??
  • You don’t ask for bill in the groceries shop to save some rupees, ur corrupt!!
  • You pay that traffic cop for over speeding, no helmet etc, ur corrupt!!
  • You but cheap electronics/foreign imports, ur corrupt!!
  • You download prirate/DVDrips from the internet, ur corrupt!!
  • You help out someone for some commission money, ur corrupt!!
I can go on with so many instances where the citizen can directly or indirectly involve in corruption.
So why did we not act along these when we knew we are corrupt. Why did we need an aged Anna Hazare??
Did we join Anna Hazare just because he became our voice?? Did we realize about corruption only when Raja/Kalmadi/Yeddurappa were arrested?? No we knew it all along. The bare truth is “We never cared.”
We were happy paying that extra 50bucks to the traffic policeman for a hassle free ride. We dont demand for the bill to save those extra shinning chillers.
We Indians are opportunists. Given a chance, we are ready to pounce on it and take it to our advantage. This the chief reason as to why corrupt officials are being caught. It is like “ tu mera pol kholega toa mei tera “ :P :P
So is TeamAnna s fight restricted to political front. No !!! We need to understand the essence behind it.
It boils down to one simple question….
Are we ready for a corrupt free India….
Answer is simple…..
You can change, I can change, they can change, we can change ….. will INDIA CHANGE….!!!

  3. Thoughts of a Disturbed Mind indeed.. good that u r disturbed..one ought to be at such state of things.
Corruption will not change overnight and any cleansing should start at the top of the political heirarchy and definitely not at the root level.. my opinion.. and Hazare's movement aims at that.. if the head is cured, the roots will follow line and each of us at the root level can stop allowing corruption, as u have opined..
best wishes cool! keep up the good job!

  4. thanks for the visit pygmalion....:)

yes certainly i do agree nothing can change overnight...and anna ji has taken the right step in the right direction...but i totally disagree with the fact that cleansing should start from top level...its fight against corruption not fight against politicians ... corrupt are people not the system....

and its always the roots that needs to be plucked .. cutting the head ll not do any help...another head ll grow over..cutting the roots ll not lead to that....roots by which i mean the common people ie WE must change...if we change...everything changes....my belief...

i might sound cynical..but im realist...
