How to install Gingerbread based Cyanogen Mod on your Android

At the very outset , there are many methods to do this. Here im writing the most simplest and easiest method after testing other mothods.
This method can be used on any android based phones and involves only your fully charged phone.

Requirements:
  • Go to xda-forums are search for your phone model forum and download the latest stable version of cyanogen available. or click here.
  • Once you download the cyanogen mod zip file . 
  • you ll have to download Google Apps from here.

Next Set Of steps To be followed :
  • Copy both the zip files onto a empty sd card or your sd card.
  • Open the rom manager application.
  • click on the “Install ROM from SD card” option.
 
  • Once clicked , the app ll ask for 3 options.
  • Click the necessary options . you can choose to back up your ROM if in case something goes wrong.
  • Once done. the phone ll reboot into recovery screen.
 
  • And automatically the back up process and install from sd card process starts.
  • just sit back and have coffee.
  • Once the process is done the cyanogen mod based GingerBread OS ll run.
After Installation . you ll have to install the Google Apps which is a zip package containing all google apps.

          As a student of engineering, what is more important for me is the way a system works under the hood and not the outer glitz and glamor. Recently Steve Jobs passed away and the world mourned him.
