What is Love?

          What is Love? Is it something that everyone knows or is it something which only few recognize? The love we are discussing is between a boy and a girl. So don’t confuse yourself. To many Love somehow remains the bottom line of life. Everyone craves for that special one. So what about U? Are U in the group of people who know what Love is but did not understand it or in the group of a lucky few who are fortunate enough to understand it, feel it and appreciate it?U don’t know. Are U still searching for the answer?

             The easy way to analyze love is through movies. Most films are based on LOVE.

             Boy meets girl and then a romantic song follows. Is this love? Boy and girl are best friends but end up being lovebirds almost after 2 yrs. Is this love? We have had films on both scenarios, both seem so true. Most people agree with me I guess. Well let’s not consider those “unlucky in love” movies. So what do we infer from these movies. Basically they confuse us more. Don’t they right? Finally we are trapped between a best friend and dream girl. One knows u exist and the other doesn’t know u even exist. And here Bollywood believes in falling in love once only or to max thrice. So of all the girl’s population Ur are expected to find one in 3 attempts. Anything more than that either the girl rejects u or ur a devdas by then. We still seem to not have reached our destination “What is Love?”

“Love at first sight Vs Love is blind”

These are the two famous and basic phrases used by lovebirds. So which one is true? Are both true? Are both bull shit? Think??? These are very easy to understand sentences. I ll try to decipher them to my little known English knowledge. “Love at first sight” means love erupts at the very first sight of her. “Love eruption “can mean skipping of a beat of heart, Ur eyes stuck at her eyes only, or both. What follows after this is a series of stupid things you do to let her know that u exist in this world. And if all ur stupid stuff goes perfect, there you go, Ur in Love!!!!! So to the next phrase “Love is blind”, well after understanding the first one, this one is easy. Love makes people rebel all, cross limits, take them to extremes. Basically it means u don’t know what ur doing. So it’s a state of darkness where u only see her and vice versa.

“Best friends As Lovers”

This is a bizarre situation when ur best friend is of same sex as u….let’s not think about it…so Do you have a friend who is very close to u? Do you look up to him/her whenever u need anything? Has she/he bothered about u and have taken a very good care of u? Was she/he always there to support you in all matters? Are all the feelings mentioned mutual?

Frankly this isn’t LOVE. Here ur are forced to fall in love. Well this is another kinda nice feeling to be in love with ur best friend. But this has a lot of problems, like fear of rejection, fear of him/her abandoning the friendship. So as I said before it’s got to be mutual. If both feel the same way and if either one has the courage to open it up to the other, well its good!!! Or else get ready to feel the hatred, the pain, agony, desperation etc. Love always starts with a dilemma. And ull be in a situation where u don’t know whether you are in Love or not. Think of it. Listen to your heart. Spend some time alone. Come out of the dilemma. You will definitely find an answer.

So finally if these still don’t give u a concrete answer about “WHAT IS LOVE?” Then it’s time that u give up the idea of falling in love and concentrate on what ur presently doing. Forget the bull shit idea of LOVE and focus on LIFE.
