Innovation 2010

Oh finally i feel like writing something and again i miss my computer...well my second gal friend is free , my mobile ;) so talking about mobiles , 2010 saw many , so to say path breaking technologies. Back in 2009 , on a tech show hrithik said his crazy idea about mobile technology was our head fitted with a sim card slot..ha ha totally crazy ;) ;) well night be possible in futr :) lets not talk about hrithik s crazy ideas...so by start of 2010 , the smartphones were on a spike..and there was nothing smart about those phones anymore. So did Nokia or Blackberry , the so called leaders in Smartphones market slash their rates. No no.. 2010 saw the rise of local manufacturers after the ban on china made mobiles. I still wonder from which part of the world did companies like Lava , Lemon , Zen etc erupt from , invading market with pretty ok ok mobiles. Even iball , akai , videocon came up in the mobile market. So result of many players was that mobiles become cheap.. This change in mobile industry also saw Indian based company Micromax bring out some gr8 mobiles. Ok so cheap mobiles was not oly the best thing of 2010... Mobile Technology also improved in India , significantly . When most developed nations moved into 4G , India stepped into 3G . This tech ll pick up speed in 2011 along with the mobile number portability :) So next thing on the agenda was ANDROID.. No no its not a new mobile manufacturing company. Its an mobile operating system. Till now we used to talk in terms of companies like Nokia , Blackberry ,LG , Samsung , Microsoft etc. Well now its about "Android THE OS" . wats special about it ?? Its open source , lead to the formation of OHA ( open handset association ) , the group of 80 odd companies led by Google upfront is responsible for coding the 12 million lines of Android and bring newer versions of it. Well Android.Inc was a small company which never knew their capabilities until Google bought it and shared it with us . Android was brought out to fight against the Microsoft OS , NOKIA symbian OS , Blackberry OS , Samsung BADA OS. These were the prime players in Smartphones . But With the release of Android , the scene changed quickly. Dell , Motorola , LG , Sony Ericsson , Acer , Samsung banked on Android, hence the smartphones become more smarter , friendly , faster , stylish..this forced newer versions of their OS from Blackberry , NOKIA , microsoft ..but its a case of too little too late. The OS had done its damage.. NOW ANDROID is coming up with android 3.0v (honeycomb) for competing with Apple s ipad...This Os is strictly for ipads. Another innovation of 2010 was Apple s ipad. Well wat to say about Apple , always responsible for newer amazing technology and most players copy their idea and bring out their . An ipad can be put above smartphones and below laptops on the ladder of technology. With its release it created waves in the market with its technology and looks , features . And now Companies like samsung , Blackberry are bringin out their pads , slates etc. Apple has always been a changer of scene and yet again they did it in style with ipad in 2010..:-) Happy New Year guys :)
