Why no politics Anna??



        Time has changed for this man. The infamous Anna Hazare also known as the anti corruption crusader is on TV more often than any other politician. So why is he not joining politics?
      The party in power is been provoking him since don’t know when. But neither Team Anna nor Anna himself is keen to setup a political party and enter mainstream politics. During the fast for Jan Lokpal Bill , he used to tell the people gathered around Ramlila ground that he is fasting for the sake of people , he is fighting for the wellfarement of people. His life is for the betterment of people. So isn’t this a superb opportunity for him and Team Anna to take charge of the situations. They are not small by any means. Team Anna I believe is more revered and followed than our Team India (think sports!!).
       Why does his team say that Anna ji ko politics mein interest nahi hai??
Anna Haraze is the man who told he is alive for the people. His life is for the people. So why that is this very famous social activist fighting for the people overcoming/not getting influenced by his own personal views/life is rejecting to be a part of Indian Politics.  
Is he afraid of losing the elections? Is he afraid of Congress/BJP?
No. He is not. If today he decides to form a political party and is ready to contest elections, we know he ll win. He has a bigger following not only in his village but in the whole of India. So there is no reason for him to be afraid of other political parties.  
I have seen so many of his interviews; everybody asks Anna Ji politics kyun join nahi karte. And he has a standard answer for all. He says, “Jo mein bahar (outside politics) rehke kar sakta hoon , wo andar rahke nahi kar paunga.” 

 

      What does he mean?? Does he mean that being the PM of India is an incompetent job( MMS is an exception) . Is he afraid that he ll be influenced by the muck of Indian politicians/politics and end up as another Raja/Yeddy/Kalmadi?  
      Every day in the news the congress throws tantrums at him. Everyone takes a dig at him. Has he not got anything to prove them all? Is that why he has taken a “maun wrat “. Well let’s forget who backs Anna, be it RSS/VHP and some rich NGOs. But he is responsible to answer. Genuine questions they are. He doesn’t.
      This hisar election, Team Anna decided to show what they can do staying outside politics. They created awareness among people of Hisar and created an anti-congress atmosphere. So isn’t this a political mode of Team Anna. When asked why congress? Why not other political parties? Team Anna says, “Congress is at the center so only and congress is not passing the janlokpal bill “. Aren't the other parties’ equally corrupt Anna ji? So why don’t you raise voice against corruption rather than political parties. It can become personal. Right. Wait!!  Is that what is happening. So Instead of leading the people and enlightening them about whom not to vote, why shouldn’t you tell them “Vote for Team Anna “. Simple and effective.
         Anna is ready to support to a political party that is corrupt free. For this to happen he has to make “Team Anna” a political party.
         Are Anna / Team Anna happy criticizing the govt.?  Don’t they want to take the responsibility of cleaning Indian Politics?

I guess this is the reason.

      It’s quite common. We all do this, Don’t we. We are happy criticizing things. It is easier to do right. That is even I’m doing now by writing this blog post. But duly note the fact that I don’t have the following as Anna/Team Anna does.
     We have problems; Team Anna could be the ultimate solution in 2014. But they are happy discussing about it.
    Anna s may come, Anna s may go, But this is the India I know , This is the India my future ll know ……….

    You have a very valid point Sourabh. Well analysed one!
    Pointing fingers at the (ir)responsible government is the most easy thing to do - True
    But knowing that government is like fishes in water - cant make out if they are drinking corruption water or not - do we not need a vibrant, alert and responsive People's Movement(WE THE PEOPLE) to review/recall/remind and coerce the government?

    i think he is rooting for bjp and clearly knows bjp wouldn't let him be the PM thus he is not joining politics but branwashing already disappointed people against congress. i would not be surprised if he is appointed president :) if bjp comes in to power...

    yeah chintan ... even i think Anna is a RSS mask to overthrow congress...

    But yeah the cloud of uncertainty tat anna maintains ll break open as we near 2014 GE ...

          As a student of engineering, what is more important for me is the way a system works under the hood and not the outer glitz and glamor. Recently Steve Jobs passed away and the world mourned him.
