A Cynic's Viewpoint

             As usual holidays and was busy chatting with my friend as the vtu results had been released. And suddenly he was like - " dude u have changed a lot , not physically but mentally ". I was like " huh ?? " , asked him what kinda changes , though he dint give any exact valid reasons. But ur vtu marks certainly shows the change he said . I fell over 25 %comparing my 1st yr avg wit my 3rd yr avg. Well i said nothing to him . Probably he was right .            Later in the day A thought struck me. 3yrs of college life was over. Another yr and i am graduate. HOLY SHIT !!! . "It appears to me as though I entered college just yesterday and I am already in the final year ???" ... I'm on the verge of becoming a graduate. I asked myself how much have i changed since october 3rd, 2007( precisly i am correct about the date ) .          ...

          So when was the last time did u use a pen and paper , apart from those exams and office work we tend to do. When was the last time we used pen and paper to write down something nice something for our beloved something out of personal interest. Seems tough to recollect right?? Use of pen and paper is not a common sight nowadays. I still remember those days when as a small kid i used to buy new ink pens which had some chinese alphabets on them every year. Then those ink pens were replaced by cheaper and fancier ball point pens. But nowadays do we really care about the pen we use?? The pen has so minimal use nowadays only limited to fill those forms of banks and various institutions and stuff like that and ofcourse signature . Pen and paper has its major purpose only in the first 15 to 16 yrs of our life when we are forced to take down notes in schools. Even those projects during our summer required pen and paper . I believe I have been practical in most situations. It’s always that we need to understand whatever we do. If we don’t understand there’s no point in doing it. I always hated Sanskrit co it was hard to learn it. So was never attracted to any verses or sloks. My upanayanam ceremony was held when I was like 7 yrs old guess. That’s when I learnt the Gayatri Mantra. My first Sanskrit verses. I remember every line of it (it’s just 4 lines, not a tough job though), but until yesterday I never pondered upon the fact of what those lines actually meant.
